I hate to encourage you — because it does seem like writing about these things perpetuates the problem that a) the discourse should never have happened in the first place and b) if it were to happen, at least as few people could hear about it as possible and c) even if we were so unfortunate as to hear about it, we don't have to think further about it and d) you have regrettably thought about it and written about it — but I must admit... this was cathartic to read. Long live the problem (which we abhor)!
